Resident Testimonials
“I recently was a rehabilitation patient at your facility. I must tell you that I have never been treated better anywhere then when I was at Baywind. Kind, considerate and compassionate - all the workers seemed to go out of their way to make sure patients were comfortable. The process started with Beth in the office. She knows her stuff: and between her and my daughter the process checking-in was as smooth as silk! Jeanette was right on point with checking out, she had all my paperwork ready and it was so unexpectedly easy. I want to mention Mr. Alfred, Dorothy, Brenda, Nancy, Kim, and most certainly Monica. The nice lady that brings cold water and snacks, Chica and Darby in therapy - really I didn't meet anyone that was not willing to go out of their way to assist.
The food service was awesome. Balanced meals with a little southern touch that really was tasty. I thought it was wonderful that the staff went out of their way to celebrate Memorial Day and have special grilled burgers and hot dogs - not many places would go that extra mile -for their patients.
I especially wanted to note how clean your facility was - the bathrooms were spotless and the rooms smell nice and clean not like some places I have visited. Mary on the cleaning staff: was not only kind and sweet but very conscientious about her Job. She had a young lady in training with her part of the time and believe me she was teaching her how to do the Job right and not skip or cut corners. There were several others I came in contact with but I cannot remember a11 the names. I just wanted to go on record saying I had a great time at Baywind and when I get ready to get my other knee done, I am going to come right back to Baywind for my rehab. I am grateful for all the assistance and kindness shown to me during my visit. (Room 103 May 20 - June 7, 20XX)

“I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the help I received during my recent stay at Baywind. I spent 9 weeks there and actually had a good time. I made several new friendships and acquaintances that I will never forget. Everyone from the admission office to the nurses, CNA’s, housekeeping and kitchen staff made me feel so welcomed and were never too busy to speak to me. The fact that everyone seemed to know me by name was astonishing. There is enough activity going on that it is hard to be bored and the variety is really good.
Your therapy department, both physical and occupational, are just superb. Therapy was great– just to be around them because they all have so much fun and love what they are doing.
I am looking forward to my shoulder getting better so I can come back and work with your staff as a volunteer. There is real love for the elderly among your staff and they definitely changed my view of Nursing Homes because they show that they care. I will be proud to recommend Baywind to anyone I know.
Keep the smiles and positive attitudes going and I will be visiting on a regular basis.”

“The staff at Baywind Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation truly cares about their residents and they are very attentive to our needs. They have many amazing events and programs for the residents, and often our family is able to join in on the fun. They really try to build a family atmosphere here and that means everything to us.”

“Every day I feel like I’m living in a hotel. Kudos to whoever is responsible for hiring the help at your facility . . . from the cleaning people to the care staff and dietary, I’m treated by everyone as if I was their father, with total respect.
